Heather Brown Obituary: Sadly, Heather Brown of Portland, Maine, a member of the Windham Chamber Singers, has gone away. At the age of 44, she lost her brave fight with cancer on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
“Sad news today as the Windham Chamber Singers family mourns the loss of one of our own, Heather (Reagan) Brown ’97. Heather was a member of the choir that won the Prize of Vienna in 1996 and was a soloist on our Inspired album. We send our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.”

Heather was always committed to her academic goals and became the Windham High School class of 1997 salutatorian. When she transitioned to collegiate play as a walk-on freshman, she etched her name into legend and left a strong legacy on the soccer field.
Heather had skills that went beyond sports, as she was a talented vocalist and a vital member of the esteemed Windham Chamber Singers. In 1996, the choir won the famous Prize of Vienna in Vienna, Austria, and went on to win recognition throughout the world.
